Early Tuesday morning, a manager at the Sand Dollar Motel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was awoken to screams and racial slurs — and soon after, the racist assailant with a criminal record, was arrested.
As Myrtle Beach Online reports, 38-year-old Sara Ann Morey, a resident of the Southern beach town, was caught chasing a black man with a hammer while yelling racist epithets at him, and was summarily arrested.
“Police reviewed surveillance footage in the area and said they saw Morey, who is listed in the report as white, continuously pursue a 38-year-old black man around the outside of the motel,” the report notes.
The man the racist chased was uninjured after she “threw a plastic ash tray at the man, hit him repeatedly and struck him twice with a plastic chair.” Much of the assault happened while he called the police on her.
The white terrorist’s third-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges are not her first — she was arrested once in 2015 after entering a private residence and refusing to leave, and again earlier this year for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and driving with an open container of alcohol.
