A racist cop in New Orleans is accused of raping of a Louisiana woman who said she was assaulted after a night of drinking at a house party, authorities said.
William Burford, a New Orleans Police Department probationary officer, was arrested on Saturday September 9th and charged with third-degree rape after the 20-year-old victim told police she fell asleep in the Kenner home and woke up to find the off-duty racist cop on top of her. The woman, who knew the rapist through mutual friends, said she was unable to push the sex terrorist off of her because of his weight and her drunken state, Kenner Police Department Lt. Brian McGregor said.
The diabolical sex monster, 28, later told investigators that the encounter was consensual, but the racist officer was charged since the victim reported being impaired and unable to stop his actions, McGregor said.
“He knew she was intoxicated,” McGregor said. “He thought it was OK. I don’t know what led him to believe that.”
The victim reported the racist rapist had previously spent the night at the home because he was in a casual relationship with her roommate. The savage initially stayed up with the victim’s roommate when the woman went to bed due to her drunkenness, only to find the demon with his legs on top of her legs, according to an probable cause affidavit.
“You can keep a secret, right?” the rapist said, the victim recalled to officers later.
The sex criminal, who has been suspended without pay, was released Sunday from the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center after posting $25,000 bail. He was hired by New Orleans police in December 2015 after graduated from its police academy late last year.
“The allegations against Mr. Burford in no way reflect the values of the NOPD,” police spokesman Beau Tidwell said.
At least four current or former members of New Orleans Police Department recruit classes who graduated in 2016, including the rapist, have been arrested in or around the city, according to reports.
