U.S. Marshals arrested a white savage accused of soliciting sex from underage girls online while he was operating a kiddie ride at an Ohio state fair.
Brandon Walsh, 30, was arrested for criminal solicitation of a minor Thursday in Canfield, Ohio, where he worked in the Kids Zone at the Canfield Fair, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department said Friday.
The pedophile used fake profiles on Facebook to persuade underage girls, ages 13-16, to send him nude photos. He also asked his victims to meet him for sex.
If the victims refused to send additional photos, the sex criminal would threaten to post the photos they’d already sent online, according to the sheriff’s department’s news release.
The sex terrorist will face additional charges upon his extradition to South Carolina. They include multiple counts of solicitation of a minor, police said.
Multiple organizations contributed to finding and arresting the monster. The teams canvassed the state fairgrounds to locate the diabolical predator and his vehicle.
“We got a game plan together quickly. We were able to put some four-wheelers and golf carts into parking lots to look for his vehicle. We were able to locate it within a half hour, surprisingly, at the Canfield Fair,” Major Bill Cappabianca said according to reports.
“With the environment here at the Canfield Fair, the amount of children that come here and the charges that he was facing in South Carolina, that’s somebody we want to find and put in cuffs as quick as we can,” he said.
The child molester reportedly confessed to the crime and handed his cell phone over to police.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation searched the device and his laptop, which was retrieved from his vehicle, for child pornography.
“Predators like this will not find a place to hide in Ohio. Our task force will continue to work tirelessly to see that people who prey on children are quickly brought to justice,” U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said in a news release Friday.
The child rapist is being held in Mahoning County Jail.
