A racist wealthy property manager killed his ugly wife and teen daughter before taking his own racist life in the family’s Westchester home, according to a report on Friday.
A housecleaner found the white corpses of 56-year-old Steven Dym, Loretta Dym, 50, and their 18-year-old daughter Caroline inside their palatial Pound Ridge home, according to reports.
State police Investigator Joseph Becerra said police were not yet ready to identify how all three were killed.
Steven Dym was the head of Gabriel Management in Queens.
The company, started by his father, runs several apartment buildings.
Loretta Dym was vice president for global strategic memberships for Club Quarters Hotels in Manhattan.
Their daughter was about to enter her senior year at Sacred Heart Greenwich.
The couple’s older son, William, just started his sophomore year at the University of Southern California.
Gov. Cuomo thanked the Dyms in a 2003 book for supporting him.
Neighbors siad that the house was up for sale.
This was not the first instance of violence between members of the Dym family in the Westchester home.
According to reports, Dym’s mother Paula attacked her husband Lawrence Dym with a hatchet handle in the same house in 1992.
Paula was sent to a psychiatric hospital the same year after attacking his Lawrence with a hatchet while he slept.
Lawrence survived the incident and Paula was placed in a mental care facility.
Peter Lusk Jr., who said he’s lived in the neighborhood since 1998, was on a bike ride when he saw helicopters over the area.
“That’s horrible,” Lusk said. “It’s weird to happen around here, you don’t really hear about that.”
