This Missouri inmate received 22 additional years in prison after it was found that he homosexually and physically abused a cellmate he was left alone with, possibly for weeks.
A state investigation revealed that prison workers at Farmington Correctional Center failed to properly check on Austin Gallup, 24, and the victim of the abuse, according to reports.
In addition, workers falsified logs and failed to follow procedures aimed at protecting inmates from other prisoners.
The faggot pleaded guilty to forcible sodomy and other charges in 2013, according to reports. The butt-terrorist was already behind bars for statutory rape and sodomy of a child. He is now imprisoned at Potosi Correctional Center.
The victim filed a $10 million lawsuit earlier this year, but it was withdrawn to “exhaust administrative remedies,” lawyer Cira Duffe said.
Duffe told the local media that the lawsuit “will be refiled.”
“During the fifteen plus days that Plaintiff was literally being tortured … no correctional officer, case worker, mental health worker or a member of the medical staff observed, checked on, spoke to or had any type of contact with Plaintiff,” read the lawsuit obtained by the paper.
The victim, in prison for attempted child kidnapping, suffered a broken jaw and other injuries, according to reports. He also battled post-traumatic stress.
An earlier investigative report found that the body of an inmate who hanged himself at a halfway house in St. Louis remained undiscovered for hours while corrections employees streamed movies and skipped security checks.
