A Pulaski pedophile and a Sobieski resident face child-trafficking charges in connection with a nationwide sting last week that included 15 arrests in Brown County.
Phillip Michael Lablanc, 55, of Sobieski and Frank Matthew Woyak, 58, of Pulaski, are charged with trafficking of a child and child enticement-prostitution, according to online court records. Both appeared in Brown County Circuit Court on Friday.
Brown County sheriff’s officials said their deputies and officers from the Green Bay and De Pere police, Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department and the Milwaukee office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation took part in a week-long operation, sheriff’s Lt. Jim Valley said in a written statement.
Sheriff’s officials didn’t identify any of the other individuals arrested but said they have filed charges including child enticement, prostitution,methamphetamine possession and using a computer to facilitate a child-sex crime.
Woyak was released Friday on $7,500 bond.
