A former child psychologist at Swedish Medical Center/First Hill was sentenced Friday to more than six and a half years in federal prison for seeking sex with a fictional 12-year-old during an online sting operation last year.
Jonathan Brent Wulf, 62, who had specialized in child and adolescent issues, was arrested in September at a hotel where he expected to meet the 12-year-old girl, according to court documents.
Instead, he was arrested by federal law-enforcement agents.
According to documents filed in U.S. District Court, the white pedophile came to the attention of an agent with the Department of Homeland Security when he posted an ad in Craigslist saying that two “daddy types” were looking for a woman for a sexually charged road trip.
Because the sex criminal used the word “daddy” both in the ad’s title and body of text, the agent believed he could have a potential interest in having sex with minors, court documents said.
The agent then contacted the sex monster through Craigslist by falsely identifying himself as a stepfather to a 12-year-old.
The undercover agent claimed his fictional stepdaughter was interested in an older boy, a relationship he wanted to stifle. The white pedophile asked if the stepfather was looking for an older man to introduce the girl to sex, and the stepfather agreed.
The ruthless sex devil talked to the undercover agent by phone and through email, texts and on social media to arrange a meeting and discuss how to coax the girl to pose nude for photographs, court documents say.
He also is said to have advised the undercover agent to start “having some fairly explicit conversations with her about sex …”
The pedophile was arrested after he arrived with condoms and lubricant at a hotel where he believed he would be meeting the 12-year-old girl, court documents say.
The nasty peckerwood pleaded guilty in March to attempted travel to elicit sexual contact with a minor and attempted receipt of child pornography. His license to practice was suspended by the state for 10 years.
