A creepy Connecticut landlord accepted rent payments in the form of sex, police said.
Waterford property manager Richard Bruno tried to coax his tenants into performing sexual acts on him in lieu of rent money — and the diabolical monster even asked to have sex with children, state police said.
The 44-year-old was arrested Thursday and charged with a slew of sex crimes and crimes against children, Connecticut State Police said in a statement.
Connecticut State Police began investigating the creepy cracka when they got a tip that the landlord was asking his residents for sex instead of rent checks, according to reports.
“The allegations included possible solicitation for sexual acts from children,” state police said.
Cops launched a sting operation, with an undercover agent posing as a 13-year-old girl online. Bruno arranged to meet up with the “teen” and promised he’d pay her for sex — but when the pedophile landlord got to the rendezvous spot, police were waiting to take him into custody.
He was charged with attempted trafficking in persons and attempted sexual assault, plus two counts each of risk of injury to a minor and enticement of a minor.
The investigation is ongoing, and police expect more charges.
