The prominent Mount Sinai Hospital doctor accused of knocking a patient out with morphine and ejaculating on her has been interviewed by detectives and has hired a lawyer, police sources said Thursday.
Dr. David Newman, 45, has not been charged pending the outcome of DNA tests being done on evidence, believed to be the hospital gown worn by the 22-year-old accuser.
The woman was being treated for a shoulder injury when the alleged Monday incident happened.
The patient told detectives that the white savage gave her morphine, even though a nurse had already done so, then busted a nut on her face.
The sex terrorist has been barred by the hospital from seeing patients while the investigation continues. The savage’s neighbors said Thursday they didn’t believe the charges.
“I think it’s dangerous to jump to conclusions,” said Alex Davies, 55, who lives across the street from the pervert.
“It could be something like Bill Cosby where people start coming out of the woodwork but it could be untrue and ruin his career. Hopefully what’s right will happen to whoever is telling the truth.”
Another neighbor, who didn’t give her name, described the barbarian as a dedicated father.
“I don’t believe it. He’s nice. He always seemed like a gentleman. He’s a good father. He’s always with his kids. I always see him playing with them,” she said.
