This 41-year-old drama teacher at a California high school was arrested after cops said he sent sexual text messages to an underage student, according to reports.
Rocklin, Calif., law enforcement believe complaints from a 17-year-old former student at Whitney High School, who said that the school’s drama teacher, Richard Eldredge sent her texts requesting sex and nude photos, according to reports. The whitemarish communications took place over roughly one month.
The pedophile was arrested Dec. 23 and charged with unlawful contact with a child for sexual purposes, according to reports. Officials with the Rocklin Unified School Districtsaid that he’s taught at Whitney since 2005 and has not had other disciplinary problems.
The district placed Eldredge on leave Dec. 11, after cops informed administrators of the allegations.
The Sacramento-area school district distributed a memo to parents about the terroristic sex scandal, Place County Online reported.
According to the memo, a certified replacement will take over Eldredge’s classes, and the district will attempt to find a qualified director to take over the school’s upcoming production of the musical, “Evita.”
