A horse lover from Gadsden County once sentenced for having sexual contact with horses is now facing more charges involving animals.
Patrick Louis Linn, 44, is scheduled to be formally arraigned October 30 on charges of Trespassing and Resisting an Officer without Violence. According to the Gadsden County Jail website, Linn was arrested October 1 and is also facing charges of Burglary and a fourth charge listed as “Conservation-Animals”, Florida Statute 828.122.3e, defined as:”Performing any service or act to facilitate animal fighting or baiting, including, but not limited to, providing security, refereeing, or handling or transporting animals or being a stakeholder of any money wagered on animal fighting or baiting.”
In August of 2010, Linn was arrested after deputies say surveillance video caught Linn breaking into barns on several Gadsden County farms and having sexual relations with horses. Linn was later sentenced to two years in prison on those charges including Burglary and Cruelty to Animals.
The Florida Legislature didn’t pass a law to ban beastiality until 2011.
Captain Jim Corder with the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office says in this case, Linn was arrested in the same circumstances, captured again on surveillance video at the same farm. GIDDYUP!
According to the Florida Department of Corrections website, the horse fucker was released from prison in May 2011. Captain Corder adds that local law enforcement were unaware Linn had been released from prison and was not on probation.
Linn is being held in the Gadsden County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
