The creature who classify himself as “white” on this picture is known as Father Bernard Chojnacki. He is a priest.
A couple of weeks ago he decided to take a stroll along a county beach in Venice. This particular beach is known as a meeting place for anti-sexual activity (so-called homosexual men looking to have sex). Apparently, there are web sites that promotes the southern end of Caspersen Beach for just such perversion.
What began as a simple stroll down a beach, possibly looking for a butt-buddy, ended with Father Chojnacki facing charges of indecent exposure and battery.
You see, following recent complaints about all the anti-sexual activity, police decided to conduct a sting operation. That’s just about the time the 36-year-old anti-sexual priest at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and School came (no pun intended) strolling along.
“In this case, the suspect approached the deputy who was walking behind him. And after making small talk about the beautiful beach is when he engaged in inappropriate activity,” stated sheriff’s office spokeswoman Wendy Rose. “He grabbed the detective and then proceeded to expose himself and offered to perform a sexual act.”
The battery charge against Father Chojnacki was a result, according to authorities, of him grabbing the undercover detective’s genitals. And of course the indecent exposure thing, for apparently whipping-out his very own “blessed” instrument.
Chojnacki has been at St. Charles Borromeo for about a year and a half. The diocese of Venice says they’ve placed him on administrative leave and stripped him of all church duties until the case is settled.
